Larsen Puzzles
Did you ever wonder how puzzles are made? This is a one-of-a kind puzzle factory and a unique chance to see a jigsaw puzzle production in operation. 3 generations ago, Mr. Larsen got the bright idea of a puzzle factory in Flekkefjord and turned the old shoe sole machine into a fully functional basement puzzle press. They soon expanded but never lost touch with the founder's concern about content, paper quality and sticking to the pieces having different shapes.
Visit the production room and the puzzle storage room. You get to pick a standard puzzle of your liking and bring it home. There are an impressive number of different puzzles to choose from and the texted ones come in several languages.
Konstali Farm
Charge your batteries in beautiful surroundings perked on a hill above the Sirdalsvatnet lake at Konstali Farm. The same family have lived here since 1633 after the farm was laid desolate after the Bubonic Plague. «Gamlebua» was raised in the 1500s making it one of the oldest wooden farm buildings in this region. On display here are over 500 handmade artifacts showing in
detail what life was like before modern tools and transportation. A sure highlight is the taste of cured sheep meat and «lefse» from their own production served to the sound of folk tunes performed by your host.
With over 1 km to your next neighbour and grass on your roof, this is truly a taste of the past.
